MACROTYL® contiene como principio activo Tilosina fosfato, un antibiótico macrólido derivado del hongo actinobacteriano Streptomyces fradiae. Su mecanismo de acción se basa en la inhibición de la síntesis de proteínas bacterianas, lo cual se logra mediante la unión reversible a las subunidades ribosomales 50S. Esta unión interfiere con los procesos de transpeptidación y translocación, impidiendo así el crecimiento y reproducción de las bacterias. MACROTYL® es eficaz en el tratamiento de diversas infecciones bacterianas en aves, contribuyendo a mejorar su salud y productividad.
